The couple recently enjoyed a whirlwind night out in Dublin, where Megan, originally from Finglas on the city’s northside, splits her time between her mum’s place near Harold’s Cross and her UK base in vibrant Brighton. Meanwhile, Conor, who calls Templeogue in south Dublin home, is eager to introduce Megan to his roots in Limerick. “I’ve been to Brighton for the first time recently, and I absolutely loved it,” Conor shared with the Sunday World. “It’s so diverse, with so much to see—it’s right up my street. Megan studied there, so that’s why she’s been living there.”

While their romance is still blossoming, Conor hints that cohabitation is on the horizon. “The plan is to eventually be closer together,” he says. “We’re both settling into new routines, but once things calm down, we’ll look at moving a bit closer—or even together.” The couple’s chemistry is undeniable, and fans are thrilled at the prospect of this next step.

Conor’s journey to Love Island fame has a touch of serendipity, as he’s not the only star from Limerick’s Crescent College Comprehensive to make waves on the show. Fellow alum Greg O’Shea, the 2019 Love Island winner, was a senior when Conor was a first-year student. “Greg was the star boy at school,” Conor recalls. “I used to watch him play rugby, and we later played together in the Irish Sevens.” Before entering the villa, Conor sought advice from Greg, who offered candid insights about the challenges and rewards of the experience. “He told me, ‘Look man, this is tough,’ but encouraged me to stay true to myself,” Conor says. “It was one of the best things I’ve ever done. I grew so much, made lifelong friendships, and now I have an amazing girlfriend.”

From the sun-soaked villa to the bustling streets of Dublin and Brighton, Megan and Conor’s love story is proving to be the real deal. As they plan their future together, fans can’t wait to see where this Irish romance takes them next. Watch this space—these two are just getting started!
