Divine Wrath! Big Brother cancels live eviction, replaces it with a brutal backstab that leaves everyone in shock!

Big Brother’s first eviction night has been plunged into uncertainty after Storm Amy  has forced ITV bosses to scrap the live eviction.

Gani Khan and Zelah Glasson are the two housemates who are up for eviction and in just a few hours, one of them will be booted out of the famous house.

But instead of leaving through the iconic front doors, the unlucky contestant will be removed quietly as bad weather batters the UK.

Producers have had to make the dramatic call to cancel the outside broadcast just hours before cameras were due to roll.

The housemate’s exit will now be shown on Big Brother: Late & Live, with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best fronting proceedings from the studio rather than the outdoor stage.

Audience members who had been expecting the usual eviction night drama are thought to have been told in advance of the change.

Big Brother’s first eviction night has been plunged into uncertainty after Storm Amy has forced ITV bosses to scrap the live eviction with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best

A Big Brother spokesperson told The Daily Mail: ‘Due to bad weather and as a precautionary measure, tonight’s live eviction will take place in the Big Brother: Late & Live studio with no outside broadcast.

They added: ‘The health and safety of everyone remains our highest priority.’

This is the first time since the ITV2 reboot that a live eviction had been pulled.

The last major disruption came back in 2015, when lightning struck during the Timebomb finale.

That series was eventually won by Chloe Wilburn, who was forced to give her exit interview indoors after fans were evacuated from the set.

It comes after Gani left fans’ jaws on the floor when he made a surprise confession about his personal life during Thursday’s show.

During a chat with housemate Jenny, Gani revealed that while exploring his bisexuality, his father made the decision that he needed to marry, and he was forced to wed his cousin last year.

With Jenny visibly shocked by the admission, Gani then admitted he also had a 10-month-old son with his spouse, despite deciding ‘married life wasn’t for him.’

During the chat, Jenny asked Gani about his journey to find love since moving to the UK from India.

Gani then revealed: ‘This is going to be very interesting and very shocking for you. 2022 was the turning point in my life.

‘I was so open-minded [on sexuality], even though I was from a religious background. I was always like, ”why not try everything”.

‘From 2022 to 2024, I was literally enjoying and exploring bisexuality.

‘And then at the end of 2023, December 2023, my dad all of a sudden was like, ”Gani, how long are you not gonna be married. Come on, please marry, why are you doing this?”

‘And I was like, ”no, I don’t want to get married, blah, blah, blah”. Then my dad asked me [to get married] and I couldn’t say no.’

Gani then revealed: ‘That is how I got married in January 2024 with my cousin.’

As Jenny shared her surprise at the admission, she asked Gani if he was still married to her now.

With Jenny visibly shocked by the admission, Gani then admitted he also had a 10-month-old son with his spouse, despite deciding ‘married life wasn’t for him’

Revealing the second bombshell, he added: ‘I am still married, yeah. I have a baby boy – 10 months old. And I said to my mother, ‘it is not you, it is your husband [Gani’s father]. It is my day, your husband – he forced me. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have married.’

Jenny was stunned when Gani admitted he was ‘forced’ into the marriage, adding: ‘I would never have got married, no!

‘Marriage is not for me. I am a free soul. Don’t control me.’

Jenny asked: ‘As long as you are happy and your wife is happy but talking to you now, I don’t think you want to be married? If you don’t want to be married, can you not get divorced or is that really bad in India?’

Gani then admitted: ‘The thing is Jenny, I didn’t marry to get divorced actually. I love my wife, I love my son.

‘From where I’m standing, I wanted to repair things and I wanted to be with my wife and son. This is me – either take it or leave it. I choose to live like this because this is my second life and I want to live in a f***ing iconic way.’

Gani did not clarify his religious background, or the status of his relationship with his wife and son.

Thursday’s episode also saw division begin to form in the house, as it was revealed housemates would be awarded currency – or eyes – that could help change their fate in the game.

Thanks to housemates such as Teja and Richard opting to take a large chunk of eyes up for grabs, George, Gani and Cameron B were left empty-handed.

Cameron was visibly upset that Tate, one of his closest pals, in the house, didn’t pick him as next to get a share of the eye pot, and quickly began to doubt all of his alliances in the group.

Friday will see Zelah and Gani go head-to-head in the live eviction, with one of them set to be the second housemate to be evicted.
