Strictly Come Dancing enthusiasts have been left ‘devastated’ after the results of the first elimination were prematurely leaked online.
The 2025 Strictly Come Dancing cast took to the stage for their second live show last night, and while the pre-recorded results show is set to air tonight, details of those in the dance-off and the eliminated contestant have already surfaced on the internet.
The second live show saw former Love Island winner Amber Davies top the Strictly leaderboard, stepping in for fellow ITV2 dating show victor Dani Dyer-Bowen.
Amber earned a score of 29 for her samba to Bam Bam by Ed Sheeran and Camila Cabello, performed with her professional partner Nikita Kuzmin. Judge Craig Revel Horwood simply stated he “loved, loved, loved” it, according to the Manchester Evening News.
The scores from the first live show were combined with this week’s, giving Amber and Nikita a total score of 56, before the public vote score is added for Sunday’s (October 5) results show.

In second place was ex-Emmerdale actor Lewis Cope and his partner Katya Jones, who danced the Viennese waltz to Lose Control by Teddy Swims, scoring 27, despite Revel Horwood commenting that it was “a little bit up and down”.
However, at the other end of the scale, ITV’s showbiz reporter Ross King and dancer Jowita Przystal are potentially facing the first dance-off after earning a mere 15 for their waltz to Sunshine On Leith by The Proclaimers, reports the Mirror. They secured the lowest score of 10 last week, giving them an overall total of 25.
This week, Ross was moved to tears following the performance, describing himself as the poster boy for “older men” who “can’t dance”, having his confidence shaken after last weekend’s showing.

Also facing elimination is former The Apprentice contestant Thomas Skinner and his professional partner Amy Dowden, who concluded the show with a joint score of 29, having delivered the salsa to Bonkers by Dizzee Rascal and Armand Van Helden, managing just 13 points.
Before handing them a two, Craig commented on the routine: “It looked like you were competing at a weightlifting competition in Skegness darling, it was all just powerlifts.”
Nevertheless, some Strictly viewers have been left ‘gutted’ after a leaked spoiler disclosed which celebrity and their professional partner became the first to depart Strictly 2025, despite some believing it was the ‘right choice’.
The results programme broadcasts on Sunday but is pre-filmed on the Saturday evening following the live show, meaning that the identity of the eliminated star is frequently leaked online and whilst the Manchester Evening News won’t be disclosing the bottom two or elimination results, fans have already been responding online.
One posted: “The right result! #StrictlySpoiler,” while another viewer commented: “Gagged at the first #StrictlySpoiler but so relieved! ! I thought they’d survive a few Eliminations at least!”
A third shared: “The correct result although I’m surprised that this person went straight into the dance off and I thought they’d have been more popular.”
A fourth queried: “Anyone else gutted for [blank]? #strictlyspoiler.”
Another added: “Feel desperately sorry for the pro in this partnership.”
