LOVE Island USA star Cierra Ortega looked bleary-eyed and disheveled in a mugshot for her driving under the influence arrest taken years before her show fame.
Cierra, 25, appeared on Love Island USA season 7 and was fired from the series when racist posts resurfaced over social media.

The U.S. Sun previously reported on her January 2021 DUI arrest.
Now, The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal more details on her bust and her worse-for-wear mugshot.
In the police report obtained from the Scottsdale Police Department, Cierra was pulled over while driving her Jeep Wrangler for going 50mph in a 30mph zone.
The officer also claimed he witnessed the Jeep “weaving heavily within its lane” and “drifting out of one lane and into another by about two feet.”
When Cierra pulled over, her right side tires collided with the curb, the police report reads.
The officer noted in the report how Cierra struggled to separate her driver’s license from other cards in her wallet, which he said “displayed a lack of fine motor skills.”
Cierra was unable to locate her proof of insurance and admitted she was driving from a nightclub.
The report continued to read, “While speaking to Cierra, I could smell the strong odor of intoxicating liquor emanating from the vehicle. Cierra had bloodshot watery eyes, droopy eyelids, and slurred speech.
“I asked Cierra how much alcohol she had consumed tonight and she replied, ‘Nothing.’ Cierra explained that she was the designated driver. Cierra denied consuming any alcoholic beverages in the past twenty four hours and stated that the last time she drank was a few weeks ago.”

The officer had her exit the car to perform Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.
The officer described her as “unsteady” and said she “was swaying in a circular motion.”
The report continued to claim, “While speaking to Cierra outside of the vehicle I could smell the odor of intoxicating liquor emanating from her breath.
“I asked Cierra again how much alcohol did she consume to tonight and she replied, ‘So I had two beers.’ Cierra admitted to consuming the beers about one hour prior.”
Cierra’s preliminary breath test was .098 percent.
She was placed under arrest for driving while impaired to the slightest degree.
In Cierra’s mugshot, she appeared bleary-eyed and had makeup smudged under her eyes.
In court papers obtained by The U.S. Sun, she was officially charged with driving under the influence, driving under the influence with a blood alcohol concentration of .08 or more, speeding, failure to drive in a single lane and no proof of insurance.
Cierra accepted a deal in court, which was approved by an Arizona judge, and pleaded guilty to driving under the influence at a July 2021 court hearing.
The other four charges were dismissed.
Cierra was sentenced to 10 consecutive days in jail.
Nine of the days were to be suspended upon successful completion of alcohol screening and she had zero credits for time served.
She was ordered to pay $1,848 in court costs and fines.
She agreed to attend an Alcohol Abuse Screening and successfully completed all treatment.
DRAMA IN THE VILLA
Cierra was a fan-favorite on Love Island USA as the first female bombshell to enter the villa.
Cierra coupled up with Nic Vansteenberghe and the two explored their connection throughout the show, even closing off their relationship ahead of the finale.
But Cierra was sent home a week before the finale over a resurfaced social media post.
The post read, “Botox isn’t for everyone but I love it for me!!!
“I am incredibly expressive with my face and I catch myself frowning for no reason throughout the day when I’m focusing on something or thinking too hard lol.
“I can also be a little ch***y when I laugh/smile so I love getting a mini brow lift to open up my eyes and get that snatched look.”
She apologized in a video when she returned home from Fiji, as she said, “I want to first start by addressing, not just anyone that I have hurt or deeply offended, but most importantly, the entire Asian community.
“I am deeply, truly, honestly, so sorry. I had no idea that the word held as much pain, as much harm, and came with the history that it did, or I never would have used it.
“I had no ill intention when I was using it. But that’s absolutely no excuse, because intent doesn’t excuse ignorance.”
Nic then explored a connection with Olandria Carthen when Cierra left the series.
The couple became a fan-favorite because of their connection and finished in second place.
They continue to date outside of the villa today.
Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales were voted the winners of Love Island USA season 7, but broke up shortly after the reunion.
MOVING ON
Cierra did not appear on the reunion episode.
She said in a TikTok video in July, “At this time, I will not be at the reunion.
“I feel lighter knowing that my perspective, my thoughts and my feelings and my emotions are out there.
“The experience did end negatively because of my own actions. That is something I’ll have to deal with.”
Cierra has been overcoming the scandal, as she has continued to focus on her influencer career with her get ready with me and social media content.
She has also gone to many red carpet events, including Nylon and Forbes in recent weeks.
