This week, Strictly Come Dancing professional Carlos Gu paused to celebrate his celebrity partner on the BBC programme, Karen Carney.
During Saturday night’s show, the pair delivered a Cha-Cha-Cha for Movie Week and received 25 points for their performance, securing joint 10th position on the leaderboard alongside Vicky Pattison.
Nevertheless, one notable absence from the weekend’s show was Stefan Dennis, who was unable to perform due to illness. He has subsequently released a joint announcement with Dianne Buswell regarding his comeback.
Following Ross King’s recent departure from the competition, it appears numerous professionals are taking time to consider their celebrity partner’s journey on the programme, Carlos included.

Posting a collection of photographs on social media documenting their competition experience thus far, Carlos expressed nothing but admiration when discussing his celebrity partner, reports Wales Online.
In his extensive caption, he penned: “Can’t believe it’s been just 3 weeks, what a wild ride it’s been!
“From the unexpected Week 1 Jive, to our first-ever Ballroom Tango (with limited Spanish movement! ) in Week 2, and then last week’s Miss Congeniality transformation for the Cha Cha Cha, every moment has been incredible.
“When I first met Karen, I honestly didn’t think of her as a dancer. But I knew she’d bring her amazing athletic strength and determination into this journey.”
The Strictly professional revealed to his followers that Karen has astonished him daily and has demonstrated tremendous development from the beginning.
Confessing he’s ‘blown away’, Carlos proceeded to express his admiration for the sporting icon, stating: “She may not be a dancer, but what I admire most is how she throws herself into every routine with full heart and joy.
“I absolutely adore her, and I hope she inspires every kid out there to believe in themselves – to try new things, take risks, and never be afraid to fail. Because even if you don’t win, you’ll always find joy along the way.”

It didn’t take long for followers to respond to the heartwarming post, with numerous fans expressing their backing for Carlos and Karen, whilst one person found his touching words moving.
