Celebrity Traitors fans have shared their exasperation with the contestants for failing to listen to Joe Marler’s theories about Jonathan Ross, while continuing not to suspect Alan Carr, despite his frequent bouts of giggles.
Thursday night’s episode saw two more stars exit the castle, after Ruth Codd was murdered by the Traitors and Clare Balding became the latest star to be banished.
And while the Faithfuls commiserated over losing two of their own, viewers couldn’t help but point out that they’d ignored rugby star Joe, 34, despite him being ‘the only one talking sense’.
The former England player has been closing in on Traitor Jonathan and attempted to convince his fellow celebrities that the chat show host had killed Ruth in a clever double bluff.
Yet, his theory – which was correct – was passed over by the majority of the group, leading to Clare being banished and Jonathan having another lucky escape.
Fans were quick to compare Joe to series 2 contestant Jaz, who was nicknamed Jazatha Christie during his time on the show, as he expertly worked out several of the Traitors, but was banished in the final after failing to convince the others.

‘Alan just bursting into laughter after Clare was banished oh he might be the best traitor of all time’.
The episode began with Traitors Jonathan, Alan and Cat Burns deciding to kill off Ruth after she went for Jonathan during the round table.
Discussing their decision, Jonathan said: ‘Ruth is not going to let it go and I feel like the cloak is getting tighter round my neck.’
Cat warned: ‘This could back fire on you’, but Jonathan replied: ‘If I was a Traitors I wouldn’t do it, why would I put myself in the firing line’.
Alan added: ‘Yeah lets get rid now before she poisons everyone’.
Walking into her room to find the letter killing her, the Irish actress said: ‘I knew this was coming’ before declaring that Jonathan and Kate Garraway were the Traitors.
The remaining celebrities gathered around the round table to cast their votes on who they believed was secretly working as a Traitor.
And beloved presenter Claire received the most votes after more devious machinations by Jonathan, who narrowly avoided getting exposed himself.

Standing in front of her co-stars, she said: ‘I came in with only one strategy, which was to be nice to absolutely everyone.
‘I’ve had the best time, and I love all of you. I am, and have been from the start, a… Faithful.’
Gutted, Stephen Fry exclaimed: ‘Oh my god how are we so useless, we’ve lost a great Faithful. What have we done’, while Charlotte Church lamented: ‘She was such a good Faithful’.
A gleeful Jonathan later admitted in a confessional: ‘I’ve got to be the luckiest Traitor, the Faithfuls did our dirty work for us. Everyone’s going to be scratching away at each other now’.
