ROMANCE DISASTER: Groom Jesse’s Plan BACKFIRES Spectacularly on MAFS with Bizarre Metaphor, Turning Love into the Most BORING Thing on Earth!

Married At First Sight Australia’s groom Jesse opened up his heart to his bride by likening their next stage of their relationship to a door.

But it seems the heartfelt letter for Michelle has been slammed in his face.

Viewers took to social media on Tuesday night to point out the only door the stunning blonde would be walking towards is the exit.

During their final date, the pair set sail around the harbour shortly before Jesse unfolded a handwritten letter to read to the 31-year-old.

Ouch! Viewers took to social media on Tuesday night to point out the only door Michelle would be walking towards is the exit

‘I have seen the door and, for me to walk through it, I need you to find it and walk through it with me,’ the retail worker read to his bride.

‘And if you were to find the door that I have found and allow yourself to walk through it, this could be a relationship that lasts a lifetime.

‘I’m just hoping you find the door like I have.’

Michelle struggled to work up a genuine appreciation for the letter, telling her groom: ‘Thank you for that letter, that’s really nice’.

But his letter with the overuse of the metaphor has been met with ridicule on Twitter after the outpouring message earned him just a kiss on the cheek.
