“THE STING STILL HURTS!” – The Moment Mark Bonnar Re-Watched His ‘Traitors’ Exit and Felt a ‘Chill’.

Tensions were at an all-time high during the latest episodes of Celebrity Traitors as BBC viewers saw the players face a huge dilemma.

On Wednesday night, it was time for the Faithfuls to try and catch a Traitor, having been unsuccessful at discovering who they are so far in the show.

However, it seems as though Alan Carr’s deceit could be on borrowed time as fans fear he’s blown his cover as a Traitor after a major blunder.

Nonetheless, he’s safe for now with fans watching the players completely split on who should be going home between Mark and David Olusog.

As it was initially a tie, they were all forced to go around the table again and revote, in hopes a clear decision would be made. This wasn’t the case as they were unable to reach a unanimous verdict.

This resulted in their fates being completely up to chance, picking between two chests, one held a shield inside which meant they were safe from banishment.

The empty box meant that the player would be going home and banished from the castle. Sadly, it was Mark who unknowingly chose the empty chest, ending his time on the show as he revealed himself as a Faithful to the other players.

Speaking about his exit on BBC Breakfast on Saturday morning, the 56-year-old detailed what it felt like to watch the brutal banishment unfold on TV.

Asking if it still stings, he replied: “Oh yeah, very much so! The first episode we had a screening in a cinema in Notting Hill for all of us to see it. It was really nice to see everybody.

“But, I found myself shivering nervously throughout the whole thing because I hadn’t seen it, I didn’t know who to expect. I was the same on Wednesday when it was the big round table between me and David.

“I was kind of shivering. We had friends and family around, and we set up a wee screen and a projector in the kitchen. We had around 20 people in the kitchen!”

Naga Munchetty asked if he’s now questioning his tactics during his time on the show as he’s able to watch it unfold.

He replied: “I suppose there’s an element of that, I guess people ask me about game play, did I have a game plan going in but as I said to Claudia when I had my little interview with her before it all started, I just wanted to be myself.

“I always wanted to be a Faithful! But I thought I’d be able to try and perceive some kind of duplicity but it’s impossible!”
