Big Brother fans have called for a major shake-up after a brutal shopping task sent the house into complete chaos.
During Thursday evening’s instalment of the hit ITV show, housemates were woken up to a brand new house – and a brand new ruler.
Gone was the friendly Big Brother they’d grown to love. In his place was Bad Brother, who wasted no time laying down the law.
He barked: ‘Listen up, Maggots, get your sorry selves to the Living Room right now.
Not holding back, he continued: ‘You do not want to keep me waiting… Listen up, you bunch of pathetic lowlifes. This is no longer Big Brother, this is Bad Brother.
‘Bad Brother is here to make sure you all have a very bad day. It’s no use asking Big Brother for help because I have locked him away inside a box in the Garden.

‘If you want to end your bad day and win a luxury shopping budget, it’s up to you, pathetic bunch, to set him free.’
To rescue Big Brother, housemates were told they must complete Bad Brother’s twisted tests to earn keys, 20 in total, but only one would unlock the chains and set him free.
Following his announcement, Bad Brother warned the housemates: ‘If you fail this task, you will face the wrath of Bad Brother and trust me, you do not want this to happen.’
Housemates Farida, Richard and Teja were chosen as Bad Brother’s Henchmen and sent to the ominous Bad Basement.
Chaos soon erupted as the first task forced contestants to listen to what they had secretly said about each other.
Taking turns, they had to guess who said what in hopes of earning points toward their shopping budget.
However, the drama didn’t stop there… the Henchmen were later asked to decide which housemate would be told that their letter from home was being shredded.
The Henchmen gathered in the Bad Basement to make their decision, and Teja declared: ‘Anyone is gonna be f****d off by that. The only person I feel comfortable to do that to is Emily.’

Farida agreed, but Richard refused to take part, saying: ‘Right, you’ll have to do it. I’m not doing it, you have to do it. I can’t bear this, I can’t bear it.’
Farida was then left to deliver the bad news, and Emily broke down in tears upon hearing it.
However, she showed remarkable grace as she pointed out that she was the only one who had already seen her family before returning to the house.
