However, Marcus was preoccupied with his relationship with Elsa. The pair developed a bond early in the series but have encountered several obstacles along the way.

Despite the pair being spotted sharing a kiss mere moments before the disclosure, fans watching from home remain convinced Marcus is making this gesture to secure viewer support before the final on November 14.
