On the June 18 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Alexia Nepola, the 58-year-old star of Real Housewives of Miami (RHOM), opened up about her turbulent relationship with ex-husband Todd Nepola, 52, while also diving into the feuds among her castmates and sharing her thoughts on newcomer Stephanie Shojaee, 40.
Alexia and Todd: A Complicated Love Story
Alexia candidly addressed her current status with Todd, revealing, “We’re not together.” Despite their divorce earlier this year, she admitted to a recent intimate encounter with him “in the last few days.” When host Andy Cohen, 57, probed why Todd is so hard to walk away from, Alexia teased, “You’re gonna have to watch the whole season. You’ll see highs and lows in my relationship and in my journey. You guys don’t see the full story.”
Reflecting on her regrets, Alexia expressed remorse for previously stating that Todd was a renter. “I regret that because Todd has no financial problems, despite [Adriana de Moura] saying that. He has a bunch of problems, but not financial,” she clarified. She also regretted offering to quit RHOM to save her marriage, a decision she ultimately didn’t follow through with. “That was a conversation I had with him, but that didn’t end up that way, thank God, so yeah, I would never do that,” she said.
Alexia also touched on her sons’ relationship with Todd. Her eldest, Peter Rosello, has had past tensions with him, but she shared, “Frankie loves everyone. And Frankie has always had a lot of love for Todd, and Peter, the same. They don’t butt into my business.”
Recalling an emotional dinner with her castmates shown on Wednesday’s RHOM episode, Alexia admitted it was tough to relive. “It was really hard, but that’s my … I was living that truth. That’s what was happening at the moment. It was really raw. I was very emotional, and it’s very painful going back and [reliving] that moment watching this episode,” she explained.
When the WWHL audience was polled on whether Alexia should divorce Todd, nearly all favored a split. Alexia, unfazed, confirmed, “It doesn’t upset me. It doesn’t really influence my decision. We actually did get divorced. We got legally divorced, but we’re still seeing each other.”
RHOM Feuds: Lisa vs. Larsa and Guerdy vs. Julia
Alexia also weighed in on the drama between Lisa Hochstein, 42, and Larsa Pippen, 50, which stems from Lisa and her boyfriend, Jody Glidden, 51, maintaining a friendship with Larsa’s ex, Marcus Jordan, 34. Alexia noted that “maybe” Jody is still friends with Marcus, adding, “He can [stay friends with Marcus].” She described Larsa’s behavior—ignoring Lisa’s runway walk in Milan—as “both” petty and perfect.
Regarding the tension between Guerdy Abraira, 47, and Julia Lemigova, 52, Alexia took a side. “Even though I’m Julia’s friend, I think it was just a miscommunication,” she said, aligning herself with Guerdy.
Alexia also addressed claims by Adriana de Moura, 59, about Todd’s issues. While denying most of Adriana’s allegations, Alexia conceded, “She wasn’t telling the truth all along. She said something, and it stuck because she was reading the room, and she was seeing what was going on. What she said about the marital problems unfortunately ended up being true, but the financial problems were totally false.”
A New Alpha in Town: Stephanie Shojaee
On the WWHL: After Show, Alexia shared her thoughts on RHOM newcomer Stephanie Shojaee. “Stephanie’s a great addition to the group. She comes in with a really strong entrance, it’s like a dramatic arrival. You guys are gonna love it. And she brings it,” Alexia said. However, she hinted at tension, noting, “Of course, we clash because we’re both alphas, so you’ll have to see that, but she’s great for the show.”
