The Love Island villa was rocked by drama tonight as Emily was left devastated by Tommy’s shocking decision to recouple with Casa Amor bombshell Lucy. Emily, who had chosen to stay loyal to Tommy despite the arrival of six new single men, was hopeful for a romantic reunion. She even confided to host Maya Jama, “It’s been hard, obviously. I’ve missed seeing him round the villa and sharing a bed together. It’ll be nice to have him back.” However, her hopes were shattered when Tommy returned hand-in-hand with Lucy, with whom he had instantly clicked in Casa Amor, spending their time snuggling and sharing passionate kisses.
Emily struggled to contain her emotions, muttering “oh Christ!” as her stunned co-stars Meg and Helena repeatedly exclaimed “f**k off” in disbelief. However, viewers on X were less sympathetic. One wrote, “Tommy returned a man!!! That girl clearly had an effect on him.” Another commented, “Tommy and Emily both agreed to be open? They had the chemistry of fish and they didn’t even advance their relationship that much… like let’s be serious.” A third chimed in, “Why is this Emily Tommy thing such a big deal, like did they not just get together like 3 seconds ago?”
Before Casa Amor, Emily and Tommy, a Welsh lass and a gardener, seemed to be a promising pair. Both previously hurt by their former partners, Conor and Megan, they had formed a sweet, drama-free connection that positioned them as potential favorites to go the distance. However, Lucy’s arrival in Casa Amor quickly turned Tommy’s head, sparking undeniable sexual chemistry that overshadowed his bond with Emily.
Elsewhere, the villa saw more surprises. Gio, ever the gentleman, chose not to bring another girl back from Casa Amor, sacrificing his place on the show after Billykiss coupled up with Boris. Meg, meanwhile, was left fuming despite reuniting with Dejon. Although Dejon refused to share a bed with another girl in Casa Amor, he engaged in flirty chats with Andrada, who was ultimately chosen by Ben. Andrada teased that there was chemistry with Dejon, coyly noting they had enjoyed one-on-one chats, prompting Maya Jama to hint at more revelations to come.
In happier news, Shakira finally secured her man, Ty, after fending off competition from Helena. Helena, a former air stewardess, was reunited with Harry, who reassured her of his commitment despite sharing kisses with Rheo in Casa Amor. He sealed their reunion with a romantic gesture, lifting her up for a kiss.
As the islanders attempt to keep their Casa Amor secrets under wraps, tensions are set to rise with the impending arrival of Movie Night, which is sure to expose their hidden flings and spark further drama in the villa.
