BREAKING: CeeDee Lamb Returns with a Vengeance – Cowboys’ Star Claims He’s “1,000% Ready” to Dominate!

OXNARD, Calif. – The Dallas Cowboys’ training camp in Oxnard took on a new level of intensity this week as star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb returned to the field with a renewed sense of purpose. After missing the 2024 training camp due to contract negotiations that culminated in a four-year, $136 million deal, Lamb is back, fully healthy, and ready to prove himself as one of the NFL’s premier talents.

“I don’t think anyone here is more excited than me,” Lamb said during his first press conference of the 2025 training camp, a milestone moment for the wide receiver who had never addressed the media in this setting before. “I love every part of being here with the guys grinding. Even when I’m tired, I think about last year when I wasn’t here… doing the things that I love with my team and being better on my craft.”

Lamb’s absence from last year’s training camp had a noticeable impact. Despite posting another stellar season with over 100 receptions and 1,000 yards, he admitted that missing critical reps with quarterback Dak Prescott made the early part of the 2024 season challenging. “I can be as strong, as fast, as explosive as I want to be, but if I can’t control it to where Dak understands… it’s never just for me,” Lamb reflected. A pivotal moment came during a Week 8 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, where, despite a standout performance of 13 catches for 146 yards and two touchdowns, Lamb realized he wasn’t fully in sync with his team.

The 2024 season was further marred by a lingering shoulder injury that sidelined Lamb for the Cowboys’ final two games. Now, in Oxnard, Lamb is seizing the opportunity to knock off the rust early and prepare his body for the grind of the NFL season. “I’m getting so much more out of this than people think I am,” he said. “Just being with the guys and being able to lead… Every day, I’m coming out here willing to prove myself every day. I don’t care how much money I got. That has nothing to do with my presence on the field.”

When asked about his health, Lamb flashed a confident smile and declared, “I feel 1,000%.” His goal for the 2025 season is clear: stay healthy and available for the entire year. With four consecutive 1,000-yard seasons and a trusted connection with Prescott, Lamb is poised for a breakout year. “I feel like the league knows what happens when I’m healthy and I have Dak for a whole season,” he said. “But if you don’t, I will happily show you what it’s going to be like this year. Honestly, I’m a dominant receiver.”

The energy at Cowboys training camp was palpable this week, with tensions boiling over into a brief scuffle on the field. Cowboys beat reporter Joseph Hoyt captured the moment on social media, noting that coach Brian Schottenheimer quickly intervened, warning players that any further punches would result in ejection from practice. The incident underscores the competitive fire burning in Oxnard as players vie for roster spots and prepare for the regular season, including an upcoming joint practice with the Los Angeles Rams in early August.

For Lamb, the scuffle is just another sign of the team’s hunger. His focus remains on leading by example and showing the league what he’s capable of. “I can’t wait to show you guys,” he said, signaling that the 2025 season could be a defining one for both him and the Cowboys.

As Dallas gears up for the season, all eyes will be on Lamb to deliver on his promise of dominance. With his health restored, his chemistry with Prescott reignited, and a chip on his shoulder, the Cowboys’ star receiver is ready to take the NFL by storm.
