Alexis Bellino Breaks Silence in Explosive Rant, Defends John Against Brutal “15 Minutes of Fame” Jab

Alexis Bellino, a returning star of Real Housewives of Orange County, unleashed a fiery response to a fan’s scathing comments about her fiancé, John Janssen, accusing him of chasing “15 minutes of fame” through his past relationship with co-star Shannon Beador. In a bold Instagram post on August 19, 2025, Alexis clapped back at the online vitriol, calling out “keyboard abusers” for spreading lies and hate from behind their screens.

John Janssen first stepped into the RHOC spotlight as Shannon Beador’s boyfriend. After their breakup, he made headlines by suing Shannon for $75,000 and later began dating Alexis, who rejoined the show last season. The couple’s engagement in August 2024 was a high point, but their romance faced scrutiny when rumors swirled in June that John had been texting a younger woman, prompting speculation that Alexis had called off the engagement. Alexis swiftly shut down the gossip, confirming the wedding was still very much on.

The drama escalated when a fan account, @just_call_me_delo, left a biting comment on Alexis’ Instagram post, dragging both her and John into the fray. “Could you imagine suing a woman and then screwing her man and then him cheating on you too and still marrying him,” the user wrote, sparking a heated exchange. When another commenter asked for clarification about the cheating allegations, @just_call_me_delo doubled down, writing, “Texting younger girls doesn’t ring a bell? Let me guess this was a lie … And [dumping] your ex girlfriend after your 15 mins of fame came from her? And Alexis would not have been asked back [if] it wasn’t for Shannon too.”

Alexis didn’t hold back in her response. In her Instagram caption, she expressed exhaustion with the relentless online attacks. “You know what, I’m so tired of the social media keyboard abusers, all spreading lies and hate, and it’s done behind a screen,” she wrote. “I’m pointing this one out because it really caught my attention.”

She zeroed in on the hypocrisy of the fan’s Instagram bio, which professed to “love God,” while their comments dripped with malice. “Look at the profile statement and the description on their IG account, yet this is what she says about me on my account when she doesn’t know me,” Alexis continued. “Is this living like her profile???? Why is she even following me? 💁‍♀️ It’s so disgusting. And this is only one of hundreds or thousands that constantly are out there on my comments.”

Taking a stand against the negativity, Alexis revealed she’s already blocked over 2,000 accounts spewing hate. “Don’t worry, I’ve blocked her and at least 2,000+ other mean, phony people on my account, because none of us need more hate spread in this world,” she declared. “And I’ll keep blocking. I always welcome constructive criticism, but no one is going to be so mean and spread so many false lies on my account.”

She concluded with a sharp warning to her detractors: “If you have the guts to be so hateful behind a screen, be ready to be seen nationally for your hatefulness and fakeness. Seems only fair @just_call_me_delo #blocked.” Alexis ended on a hopeful note, urging kindness and positivity. “Let’s just be kind. Love like Jesus would. Spread joy, and kindness.”
