Keanu and Kelly have an interesting Big Brother relationship. They aren’t necessarily allies, but not enemies either. They don’t trust one another, but they have been forced to work together most of the season. As two of the biggest competition threats, they know it benefits them to work together. Additionally, they were constantly on the block together and escaping eviction. It also made them sort of outcasts in the house. This made them a bit dependent on each other to survive. However, with only a few weeks remaining, Keanu and Kelley have formed other bonds and attachments.
Kelley and Keanu are almost like true enemies forced together by their situation. Now that they don’t need each other, their working relationship is barely holding together. In fact, if Keanu didn’t win Thursday’s BB Block Buster, Kelley planned to vote out Keanu. She has been working against him for a while. Keanu is a loyal player. Therefore, though he knows he cannot trust Kelley, he doesn’t plan to target her. At least he wasn’t in the near future. But that may have changed after the events of the last few days.
Keanu has been telling different players different things. However, his consistent narrative about nominations is that he wants to nominate Lauren, Vince, and Morgan. He has wanted Morgan out for a while. Additionally, Lauren’s decision to nominate him has made her his main target. Keanu vented to Kelley on Monday about Lauren. He also told her his true nomination plans.
Lauren and Kelley, along with Ava, have formed a close three-person alliance. This means they share information. I am unclear on how exactly this info traveled, but according to Kelley, she told Lauren that Keanu would likely nominate her. Vince was also in the room and assumed that Keanu would nominate them both and Morgan.
Also, according to Kelley, Morgan was the one who told Keanu that Kelley had outed his plans to nominate her, Vince, and Lauren. Kelley thinks Vince told this to Morgan. On Wednesday night, Keanu pulled Kelley into the gym to confront her about telling Morgan and others about his plans to nominate them. Kelley denied telling anyone.
She said they assumed he would nominate them based on the fact that there aren’t many options. She also brought up his deal with Ashley. Kelley assumed that Keanu and Ashley made a deal not to nominate each other this week. This meant that he only had very few nomination options.
Keanu and Kelley didn’t exactly argue, but also didn’t really resolve their tension. On Thursday morning, Keanu was still annoyed with Kelley for exposing his plan to nominate Morgan, Lauren, and Vince. He thought she did this to kill his chances of staying. He thought she was trying to turn the votes against him if he lost the BB Block Buster.
He made sure Kelley wasn’t spreading more things about him this morning. Keanu asked Morgan, Ashley, and Vince this to imply that Kelley always says ridiculous things that you can’t believe. Now that Keanu is safe and in the Big Brother house for at least one more week, it will be interesting to see if this irritation with Kelley finally makes him lose all loyalty to her.
Kelley was probably one of the last people he would nominate if he wins Head of Household this week, but she may become a renomination option.
