Katie Price’s boyfriend JJ Slater has revealed their relationship has been ‘full on’ in recent weeks, after the couple faced a string of split rumours.
Katie, 47, and the Married At First Sight star, 33, have been dating since February 2024.
Over the past 18 months their relationship has been hit with break-up rumours, with the ups and downs often playing out on social media.
In May for instance the couple sparked rumours of a split after wiping all traces of each other from their respective Instagram accounts.
But JJ has clarified he and Katie are ‘growing as a couple’ after a ‘full on’ few weeks in his life.
He told the Daily Star: ‘For me, the show was back in 2023, and a lot has happened since then. The biggest thing, obviously, is that I’ve found someone – meeting Kate has been the best thing to come out of all of this.

‘We’re just focused on building something together and growing as a couple, which has been amazing. On top of that, I’ve been keeping busy with work.
‘I’d had a clothing brand before, but I’ve been building that up more, and I’ve also become a partner in a car showroom and car leasing company. So between my relationship, my businesses, my friends, and my family, life’s been pretty full-on but in a really good way’.
On Friday, Katie sparked concern over four of her sphynx kittens as they spent the night at the vets after falling dangerously ill.
The former glamour model, who is currently on tour with pal Kerry Katona, has been condemned by animal charities for owning pets after she suffered a series of deaths.
Last month, she sadly lost one kitten after her designer cat Doris’ gave birth, with one struggling to latch on to feed.
This marked the eighth animal to die in her care.
Now, the health of four of her surviving kittens has drastically declined, despite Katie’s multiple vet visits.
The star and her boyfriend JJ had been bottle feeding them every three hours after Doris contracted an infection and was placed on antibiotics.
But JJ has clarified he and Katie are ‘growing as a couple’ after a ‘full on’ few weeks in his life
Taking to her Snapchat on Tuesday, Katie revealed that JJ found the kittens limp and unwell.
She said: ‘All of them now have declined so bad even though we took them to the vets earlier. JJ had to rush them to the emergency vets. We’re on our way back to the vets, it’s not looking good.
‘Fingers crossed, they are like our babies. We’re doing everything we can. We’re just gutted at the minute. And we’ll be gutted if they can’t do anything for them.’
Now, in the latest update, Katie shared that the kittens were kept at the vet overnight, but Doris’s condition had improved.
She told her followers: ‘Good morning, didn’t have a very good sleep last night at all.
‘The vets ringing us three times in the night. I’ll give you an update on the kittens again just not in the right frame of mind. But Doris is alright.’
Returning to social media on Friday, pal Kerry revealed Doris was back home, but there was no sign of the kittens.
Daily Mail contacted Katie’s representative for an update.
Katie welcomed Doris and two other bald cats into her home last October, despite calls from animal charities for her to be banned from owning pets.
She hit back at those who criticised her for owning animals after charity PETA offered her £5,000 to stop keeping pets.
Katie, who also recently introduced a cocker spaniel named Rookie to her family, has always been an avid animal lover and has owned several pets over the years.
However, her treatment of animals has come under scrutiny after five dogs, a horse, and a chameleon all died while in her care – many of them in traffic accidents near her home in Sussex.
Katie attributes these tragedies to ‘bad luck,’ with most occurring while she was away. She has since secured the garden of her new home to ensure her pets’ safety.
Responding to people who say she shouldn’t own animals, Katie told The Sun: ‘When people say I shouldn’t have animals, it’s circumstances that were out of my hands.
‘It’s no lack of me not looking after them or anything like that. I love animals, I love nurturing.’
