Viewers of Big Brother have demanded that one housemate is put up for eviction immediately following a ‘ridiculous’ punishment.
The latest episode of the ITV reality series aired on Wednesday (October 29) saw yet another rule break. While still enduring their ongoing consequences of no hot water, basic rations and no luxury items, it was revealed that Sam had been hiding a secret cup of honey.
Despite his efforts to hide it, he was spotted by cameras putting a sly spoonful of the treat in his drink and mixing some into his porridge. As a result, Big Brother gathers the Housemates on the sofas and asks them: “Housemates, what is it about the rules that you do not understand?”
Caroline says: “Oh no.” Sam knowingly adds: “Oh, f***’s sake.”

Big Brother continues: “Sam. Stand up… Sam, have you got anything you want to tell Big Brother. Big Brother suggests you think very carefully about your next words. Sam, you’ve got yourself in quite a sticky situation. Sam, what do you have to tell Big Brother?”
Sam says, “Well, I had some honey left over from the honey jar and, um, misplaced the cup of honey.” Big Brother tells Sam to get his cup of honey and bring it to the Diary Room. Inside the Diary Room, Sam finds a large jar filled with honey.
Big Brother says: “Seeing how much you love honey, Sam, Big Brother has got just the thing for you… as punishment you must give yourself a full honey makeover, face and hair included… Sam, there’s one more thing. From this moment on you shall be renamed Honey until Big Brother decides otherwise.”
Sam is instructed to lather himself in the honey. Sam shrieks and says, “Oooooo, it actually feels alright… it does taste nice.” Big Brother asks, “Honey, have you learnt your lesson?”
Fans watching along at home were not impressed and wanted to see harsher punishments handed out, especially considering the repeated rule breaking. One fan posted on social media, saying: “This punishment is ridiculous, how silly and what a waste.”
Someone else added: “Caroline pretending she didn’t know about the honey Chuck her out just for that.” While a third commented: “Can big brother just grow a pair and put rule breakers up for eviction.”
One viewer asked: “So Zelah gets all eyes removed and a harsh punishment while Sam gets this? OK.”

Things got worse when Big Brother rewarded the entire house after Ferida managed to pass her secret mission. She was given an hour to convince some of the others she previously held unusual jobs.
Unimpressed, one person stated: “A TAKEAWAY FOR THE WHOLE HOUSE? THEY ARE HAVING A LAUGH, THEY ARE MENT TO BEING PUNISHED!”
Another agreed: “Why they getting chance of a takeaway after skipping the shopping task, then breaking 286 rules as well?”
“Big Brother is too soft! Punish the housemates for breaking the rules one minute then rewarding them with a takeaway the next.”
Voting for Friday’s eviction is currently open with viewers being asked to vote for the Housemate they wish to save from eviction. Friday night will see the next TWO evictions from the Big Brother House and the evictees first live interviews with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best.
