MARRIED at First Sight UK fans claim they’ve figured out the real reason for Steven’s behaviour towards Nelly and have begged her to leave him.
The groom has been under fire from the experts and viewers have called for him to be axed over his attitude and angry outbursts.
He’s also made himself popular with the other brides, including April and Julia-Ruth, and has taken sides with Julia-Ruth during a row with Nelly.
His latest antics have stirred suspicions and viewers now believe Steven has an alterior motive for acting up.
One said: “He wants her to end the relationship so he doesn’t look bad.”
Another wrote on X last night: “Im convinced Steven hates Nelly.”
A third said: “Nelly, Steven does not like you.”
In recent scenes Nelly was not impressed after finding pictures of her husband and another wife stuck on their fridge.
Steven stuck polaroids of himself and April on their fridge after a group night out.
Nelly confronted him and said it was “muggy” to which Steven agreed.
He said: “I respect that.”
She argued: “But you don’t, because it’s on a fridge, on my fridge.
“I came here for a successful marriage, I’ve given absolutely everything, but it’s blindingly obvious that you don’t like me, Steven.”
He replied: “Believe me when I say, if I didn’t want to be here, I wouldn’t be here…”
She said: “But I haven’t felt you even wanting to spend quality time with me.”
He responded: “Granted, I could do more.”
He later told her to “shut up” when she delved deeper into his behaviour.
She continued: “I can hands down say that some of the other couples have probably been for more evening meals out, for more movie nights in, they’ve had more meals cooked for them than you and I have.
“I’ve said let’s go grab breakfast. Let’s grab drinks.”
He defends: “Have I been willing to go to those places? Have I straight up said, No?”
Nelly continues: “My point is that you’ve not done it though. You’re avoiding the question.”
He concludes: “Shut up, please let me talk.”
It also kicked off last week when Julia-Ruth admitted to “fancying” Steven when the brides and grooms were asked who they would be with if not their spouse.
Nelly was devastated when at the couple’s retreat her friend Julia-Ruth said that in the “real world” Steven was “definitely someone” she would go for.
Controversial bride Julia-Ruth went on to cause an explosive row, which left fans gobsmacked as they watched Steven stick up for her.
Fans watched as Steven and Nelly tied the knot on the popular dating show, but things soon broke down and resulted in him firing expletives at his wife.
