The Controversial Reason Behind Lisa Hochstein and Larsa Pippen’s Falling Out!

The Season 7 premiere of The Real Housewives of Miami delivered drama right out of the gate, with Larsa Pippen igniting a fiery feud with Lisa Hochstein. The spark? A perceived betrayal rooted in a selfie that sent Larsa into a rage, accusing Lisa of disloyalty. The tension unfolded at the birthday party of Lisa’s boyfriend, Jody Glidden, where Larsa aired her grievances, setting the stage for a heated clash.

The root of Larsa’s fury was a selfie showing Jody hanging out with her ex-boyfriend, Marcus Jordan. To Larsa, this was a blatant act of disloyalty from Lisa, her supposed friend. However, Lisa has a different perspective, suggesting Larsa’s outburst might have been a calculated move for a storyline in Season 7. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Lisa explained, “I’m still in the feelings, and I’ll tell you why. They broke up several times and got back together. So, I didn’t even know that they broke up the final time until I saw it in the news. She didn’t tell me like she said. Like literally, there was no communication like they broke up.”

Lisa clarified that she wasn’t personally involved with Marcus, nor was she aware of the finality of Larsa and Marcus’s breakup. She emphasized that Jody and Marcus’s friendship predated the drama, forged through their shared experiences on the show. “You can’t expect Jody and Marcus to, like, completely cut off their relationship. They met on the show. They shared this experience,” Lisa said. She further explained the selfie incident: “That was the reason they saw each other, because they have mutual friends. So, Jody ended up going to a place, and Marcus was there. He took a selfie, and that’s it. End of story.”

Adding fuel to the fire, Lisa revealed she and Larsa hadn’t spoken for months before filming began. Their only recent interaction was a single phone call where Larsa questioned why Lisa hadn’t wished her a happy birthday. “I did say Happy Birthday. I texted you, Happy Birthday,” Lisa recounted, noting that this minor exchange seemed to escalate into a larger issue. She speculated, “Maybe that was her way of starting a problem … for a storyline.” Given Larsa’s past feuds with castmates like Dr. Nicole Martin and Guerdy Abraira, Lisa’s theory that Larsa might be stirring drama for screen time isn’t far-fetched.

As the drama unfolds, fans are left wondering whether Larsa’s reaction was genuine hurt or a strategic play for the cameras. The Real Housewives of Miami airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo and streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland, promising more twists in this explosive season.
