Tamra Judge, the vibrant star of The Real Housewives of Orange County, is no stranger to the spotlight, but her latest appearance has set tongues wagging. Fans and even Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen, 57, couldn’t help but notice a striking change in Judge’s look, sparking a wave of plastic surgery speculation. On the July 14 episode of her podcast, Two T’s in a Pod, the 57-year-old reality star addressed the buzz head-on with her signature candor, leaving listeners stunned by her revelations.
“Everyone’s, like, ‘What? You look different,’” Judge shared with guest cohost Dolores Catania. “I think even Andy said that. I’m, like, ‘My hair’s darker. I’m definitely thinner, which makes a difference.’” She pointed out that her recent weight loss is especially noticeable in her face, giving her a refreshed appearance. But that’s not all—Judge cheekily added, “Then, [I got] new teeth. That’s it, guys. No surgery, no nothing.”
While Judge firmly denied recent surgical procedures, she didn’t shy away from discussing the cosmetic treatments she did undergo in 2024. Last year, she opted for a CO2 laser treatment, a brow lift, and a chemical peel to rejuvenate her skin. Speaking exclusively to Us Weekly in September 2024, Judge shared that these procedures are common among her inner circle, including RHOC costar Heather Dubrow’s husband, plastic surgeon Terry Dubrow. “I’ve had a lot of friends [who] have had it done,” she said. “My plastic surgeon does them all the time, and I haven’t experienced anything negative.”
However, the road to her radiant results wasn’t without challenges. Judge described the recovery as grueling, particularly in the early days. “The first couple of days was pretty brutal, and then after that, I had to go on a steroid pack to get the swelling to go down,” she recalled to Us Weekly. “As soon as the swelling went down, that was less painful. But then I had to deal with, basically like a burn victim, my skin was peeling off my neck for some reason. It burned, it itched, and that lasted for a couple weeks.” Even now, Judge noted that her skin remains sensitive and is still rebuilding, with lingering soreness from the brow lift staples being removed. Yet, the results speak for themselves: “My skin has started to look amazing,” she beamed.
Beyond her cosmetic journey, Judge has been vocal about her weight loss, shutting down rumors that she turned to Ozempic, a medication often used for weight-related conditions but not recommended for casual weight loss. In October 2023, she took to X to set the record straight: “These comments that I’m on Ozempic are disgusting. I’ve suffered from intestinal problems for years. I’ve had multiple surgeries in the past 12 years. My grandmother died of intestinal problems. I’ve never been on Ozempic and personally, wouldn’t use it for weight loss!”
Judge’s candid response not only dispels the rumors but also highlights her resilience in the face of scrutiny.
