Arsenal Secretly Agree Deal for 19-Year-Old 6’4″ Giant Who Terrorized Saliba & Gabriel in Champions League – Leverkusen Just Sent Their “Congratulations”!

Arsenal are refusing to rest on their laurels after clinching the Premier League title for the first time in 22 years. With the champagne still flowing from their dramatic triumph, Mikel Arteta’s side have already moved decisively in the transfer market, securing a deal for a towering young striker tipped to add fresh menace to their attack.

The Gunners were confirmed as champions after Manchester City dropped points against Bournemouth, moving four points clear at the top. Yet even as celebrations swept through north London, Arsenal’s hierarchy have been working behind the scenes to address areas of the squad that showed vulnerability during the campaign.

While Viktor Gyokeres contributed 14 goals to the title-winning effort and Kai Havertz offered a more physical presence when fit, the centre-forward position has been a topic of ongoing debate. Arsenal scored an impressive 118 goals across all competitions but at times struggled to break down well-organised low blocks. According to reports, the club have identified Bayer Leverkusen’s Christian Kofane as the ideal focal point to rejuvenate their forward line.

A powerful presence

The 19-year-old Cameroonian, standing at 6’4″, caught the eye during Leverkusen’s Champions League clashes with Arsenal this season. Deployed as a focal point, Kofane posed a significant aerial and physical threat against William Saliba and Gabriel, showcasing the exact attributes Arsenal are keen to add.

Africa Foot reports that Arsenal and Barcelona are currently leading the race for the teenager, ahead of interest from Newcastle United, Chelsea, Brentford, and Bayern Munich. All clubs have made initial contact, but the Gunners appear to hold a strong position.

Leverkusen signed Kofane from Spanish side Albacete for just €5 million last summer. With his Transfermarkt valuation now sitting at €40 million, the Bundesliga club stand to make a substantial profit — something they have become accustomed to in recent windows.

Strong relations between the clubs

The relationship between Arsenal and Bayer Leverkusen remains excellent. Granit Xhaka’s move to the BayArena in 2023 was handled smoothly, while a loan deal for Piero Hincapie with an unusual option-to-buy clause (favouring Leverkusen) is set to become permanent in the coming weeks. These positive dealings are understood to have helped Arsenal’s pursuit of Kofane.

On the night Arsenal were crowned champions, Leverkusen took to X (formerly Twitter) to congratulate their English counterparts. The German club highlighted the Gunners’ set-piece prowess and extended well wishes to former player Kai Havertz on his title success — a classy gesture that further signals warm relations between the two sides.

Looking ahead

With the Premier League trophy to be lifted at Crystal Palace this Sunday, Arsenal can celebrate a long-awaited return to the summit of English football. Yet Mikel Arteta and sporting director Edu have made it clear that this squad will not stand still. Bringing in a dynamic young talent like Kofane would signal clear intent to dominate both domestically and in Europe next season.

The deal, if finalised as expected, would represent another shrewd piece of business for Arsenal — securing a high-potential 19-year-old who has already proven he can trouble even the strongest Premier League defences.
