A Married At First Sight UK bride has been reduced to tears following a heated confrontation at the first dinner party.
Nine fresh couples have been matched as 18 singles tie the knot with complete strangers in the tenth series of the hit E4 programme. Already, viewers have witnessed numerous uncomfortable encounters and emotional moments as audiences speculate which pairs will stay together.
MAFS UK returned last evening (September 28) as 54 year old Anita and 60 year old Paul exchanged vows at the altar. Nevertheless, the duo seemed to encounter their initial obstacle during their honeymoon when Anita admitted at the episode’s conclusion: “I don’t know if there’s hope for the marriage, truthfully, I don’t think there is.”

The drama is poised to escalate tonight (September 29) as MAFS UK broadcasts at 9pm on E4, delivering the explosive debut of the first dinner party. In a preview clip, one bride is shown crying after a fiery altercation.
In the teaser, the voiceover reveals: “Next time, our newly weds move in together. But for some couples, domestic harmony is short lived”, reports OK!.
“At the first dinner party of the experiment…. it’s show time for Dean, but Sarah serves a scathing review.” It continues: “And while some are falling head over heels, others are falling apart.”
In the trailer, bride Sarah is shown facing criticism from the experts as she describes husband Dean as resembling a “care bear” whilst the experts declare: “That’s not a very hot thing to say about your partner.”
The 54 year old Anita is spotted arriving at the dinner party by herself after previously declaring: “It’s crunch time for me.”

Whilst Davide and Keye, Steven and Neelima, and Maeve and Joe continue to flourish as they seem besotted with each other, one bride breaks down in floods of tears as she is seen sitting alone with her head buried in her hands.
Professional dancer Julia-Ruth had previously married musician Divarni, and although they looked happy on their wedding day, friction started to emerge during their honeymoon.
During the dinner party, Julia-Ruth can be overheard declaring: “You are very negative” whilst she struggles to hold back her tears.
However, in a separate scene, the star sits alone with her head in her hands and her back turned to the camera as she appears to be sobbing. She remarks: “I just wanted someone genuine.”
Will the first dinner party bring with it plenty of drama and heartbreak? Fans will have to tune in tonight to find out.
