COWBOYS BREAKING: Cowboys’ Trevon Diggs shares 2-word message about Dallas future

Trevon Diggs’ journey back from a knee injury has been one of the quieter but more important storylines inside the Cowboys’ locker room this season.

The All-Pro cornerback has spent weeks ramping up, searching for trust in his body, while Dallas navigates a critical stretch of the schedule with playoff implications hanging in the balance.

That trust, Diggs says, finally returned recently. Per Jon Machota of The Athletic, “Trevon Diggs is feeling good. He expects to play Sunday night. Said this is the best he’s felt in a long time.” And when asked about the future in dallas, he just replied with two-words, “I’m ready.”

If he starts, he will not be the only one to hit the gridiron from injury reserve. CeeDee Lamb and TE Jake Ferguson will play against the Vikings on Sunday, per HC Brian Schottenheimer.

And as the Cowboys prepared to face the Vikings in Week 15, the star CB offered a brief but telling update that immediately caught the league’s attention.

He said that he is expecting to play, and that was the clearest signal yet that his recovery has reached a turning point after a cautious buildup designed to protect both his health and the team’s long-term plans.

Diggs also made it clear that he feels fine physically as Dallas readies for a Minnesota offense that will test the Cowboys’ secondary. His potential availability carries weight for a defense that has leaned heavily on its coverage unit, particularly in high-leverage games late in the season.

Beyond the immediate matchup, Diggs addressed his future with the franchise, striking a tone that was honest and measured. “Yeah, of course I want to stay here. I love Dallas. But, at the end of the day, it’s a business. Whatever happens, happens,” Diggs said.

27-year-old CB went on to explain what the organization means to him beyond football. “I love everything that comes with Dallas, the fans, the relationships I’ve built here. But if that’s not what it is, that’s just not what it is.”

For now, the focus remains on the present. With his confidence returning and a pivotal game looming, Trevon Diggs’ words suggest the Cowboys could soon have one of their most impactful defenders back in the mix when it matters most.
