Married At First Sight UK’s Maeve Mathieson has revealed a huge revelation about her husband Joe Wood, criticising his “muggy” behaviour.
As the Married At First Sight UK experiment reaches its halfway point, tensions are beginning to rise among some couples. Julia-Ruth has been criticised for her comments towards Divarni, particularly those about another married man Steven – who is with Nelly.
However, Maeve and Joe are also experiencing difficulties in their relationship, despite having previously declared their love for each other. This week, Maeve has been seen alone, struggling to understand the state of her relationship and what the future holds.

Joe had to leave their shared apartment to return home following the death of his grandfather during filming. He has since appeared on camera expressing uncertainty about his feelings for his wife.
This week, Maeve confessed that she still hasn’t heard from her husband as she embarks on the couple’s retreat alone. Later, Ashley also admitted he hasn’t heard from Joe, leaving everyone questioning if and when he will return, reports OK!.
During a Q&A session on her Instagram stories, Maeve made a startling confession, stating “I wouldn’t of (sic) stayed”. She was asked “what kept you going through this experiment and would you do anything differently?”
Her response was a photo of herself with Keye and Davide. She said: “My little love bugs kept me going, you don’t understand how hard this experiment is.
“You would normally ring your friends for advice but instead you have to make bonds with new friends and this is something I will forever be grateful for.

“The love and support received every minute of every day from my squad was unbelievable.”
She added: “I don’t know if it’s been shown but I actually did have a conversation on camera with Ashley about it what Joe said and he told me it was a private conversation… however he did fail to mention there was cameras there.
“So if I knew that I wouldn’t of stayed as it’s all just a bit muggy for me.”
In the teaser for the upcoming episode, which viewers will need to wait until Sunday, October 26 to see, Joe was spotted making his return to the programme as the pairs make their way to their evening meal at the retreat.
Nevertheless, will he and Maeve manage to sort things out?
