Kyle Richards & Erika Jayne Drop Bombshells About Rachel Zoe’s Return!

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) Season 15 is already shaping up to be a whirlwind of drama, and newcomers like Rachel Zoe are at the heart of it! Kyle Richards and Erika Jayne recently spilled the tea on what it’s like filming with the celebrity stylist, giving fans a tantalizing glimpse into the explosive dynamics unfolding on set.

On the July 22 episode of her iHeartRadio podcast Diamonds in the Rough, co-hosted with RHOBH alum Teddi Mellencamp, Erika Jayne, 54, couldn’t hold back her excitement about Rachel, 53. “Rachel Zoe, who just came over the other day. Who, by the way, I really like,” Erika shared with guest cohost Matt Laughery. “I can’t say much, but I can say I like Rachel. She’s good TV, and she’s a cool person.” High praise from Erika, who’s no stranger to commanding the screen herself, hints that Rachel is bringing her A-game to the RHOBH universe.

Meanwhile, Kyle Richards, 56, teased some juicy details during a July 18 Amazon Live shopping stream. When asked about how “the two new ladies” are meshing with the group, Kyle didn’t hold back. “Well, it’s getting interesting, guys, I’ll tell you,” she said with a knowing grin, keeping the identity of the second newcomer under wraps. (Bravo confirmed Rachel’s casting to Us Weekly in June but has yet to reveal the other addition or their official status as Housewife or “friend.”)

“There’s a little clash. A little clashing going on, which is to be suspected,” Kyle continued. “Not everybody gets along. There’s some very strong personalities in this group, and some people rub people the wrong way. Sometimes it’s upsetting, and sometimes it’s kind of entertaining. It’s like, ‘Oh, my God.’” With Rachel’s bold personality and impeccable style credentials, it’s no surprise she’s stirring the pot in Beverly Hills!

Kyle also dropped hints about a recent cast trip to Arizona, describing it as “exhausting,” “stressful,” and “eye-opening.” If that’s not a recipe for iconic Housewives drama, we don’t know what is! Fans are already buzzing about what went down and how Rachel’s presence might have amplified the tension.

Rachel’s addition to RHOBH as a full-time Housewife marks her triumphant return to Bravo after her hit reality show, The Rachel Zoe Project, which aired from 2008 to 2013. “I am beyond excited to be returning home to Bravo to join the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!” Rachel exclusively told Us Weekly in June. “I’ve been living my best, new life, and it felt like the perfect time to come back to TV and share it all with you. Here we go … RZ 2.0!” With her signature glamour and larger-than-life persona, Rachel is ready to redefine the Beverly Hills scene.

As if the onscreen clashes weren’t enough, Rachel’s personal life is adding fuel to the Season 15 fire. On July 21, just as filming was heating up, Us Weekly confirmed that Rachel filed for divorce from her estranged husband, Rodger Berman, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple, who share two sons, Skyler, 14, and Kaius, 11, listed their date of separation as June 27, 2024. With this major life change unfolding in real-time, Rachel’s debut season is poised to be an emotional rollercoaster.

Joining Rachel, Erika, and Kyle are returning Housewives Sutton Stracke, Dorit Kemsley, and Bozoma Saint John, ensuring a mix of familiar faces and fresh energy. However, fans were stunned when Garcelle Beauvais announced her departure from the franchise in March, leaving a void in the RHOBH lineup.

With Rachel Zoe stepping into the spotlight, sparks flying among the cast, and personal dramas unfolding, RHOBH Season 15 is gearing up to be one for the books. Will Rachel’s bold personality cement her as a fan favorite, or will the clashes Kyle hinted at steal the show? One thing’s for sure: the diamonds of Beverly Hills are shining brighter—and messier—than ever.
