“THAT was the appeal!” – TV star reveals the REAL reason for joining ‘I’m A Celebrity’ involves their partner.

Emmerdale legend Lisa Riley has dropped a refreshingly honest bombshell in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle: her long-term partner Al had absolutely no idea who she was when they first got together – and that’s exactly why she fell for him.

Chatting with campmate Aitch during Wednesday night’s episode, the conversation turned to the perils of fame, “kiss and tell” stories, and rabid fans. The 49-year-old Mandy Dingle actress casually revealed she’d had three kiss-and-tell scandals in her career, then delivered the killer line when asked if Al was an Emmerdale superfan.

“No,” she laughed. “He didn’t know who I was – that was one of the appeals!”

The confession had Aitch in stitches, especially after he’d just opened up about a girl secretly filming him in bed and posting it online. When Lisa cheekily asked if his fans still “throw themselves” at him, the rapper gave a knowing grin and stayed silent. “The smile says it all,” Lisa teased.

Aitch then declared he’s officially retired from the chaos of fame-fuelled flings: “My time in the game is done, man. I’m excited to have kids.”

Meanwhile, Jack Osbourne faced one of the toughest trials of the series so far – the terrifying Dangerous Discoveries challenge. Strapped on his back in a giant archaeological pit, the TV personality and son of Ozzy Osbourne had just 10 minutes to dig through eight nightmare-filled holes for ancient star coins.

Yabbies, scorpions, toads, frilled-neck lizards, baby crocodiles, spiders, snakes, and a never-before-seen ridge-tailed lizard all stood between him and meals for camp. Ant McPartlin’s savage commentary summed it up perfectly when Jack spent minutes pawing through sand: “He may have found his nemesis – sand.”

In the end, one sneaky toad literally sat on the final star, costing Jack a clean sweep. He returned with seven out of eight – and a new mortal enemy in the amphibian world.

Back in camp, with only eight celebrities left, Lisa and Ruby Wax gleefully stirred the pot while reassigning chores. Ruby admitted they deliberately gave social media star Angryginge two jobs while letting Aitch off lightly – purely “because we like to see a little conflict between the two of them.”

And in the night’s dramatic vote-off, the fifth celebrity was sent packing live on air, leaving just seven hungry stars battling it out Down Under.

Lisa Riley’s jungle confession proves sometimes the biggest turn-on is someone who loves you for you – not your soap CV. Pure romance goals!
