Married At First Sight UK viewers are convinced that they have figured out the real reason Joe has had a drastic change of heart about wife Maeve.
Maeve, 29, and Joe, 31, initially had a rocky start to their relationship due to their contrasting personalities but they have since managed to sort things out and have even been intimate with each other.
Since then they appear to be the perfect couple with the pair recently saying that they love each other however it all seems too good to be true as Joe has made a dramatic U-turn after an explosive argument.
During Wednesday’s (October 15) episode of the E4 hit dating show, the couples were split into groups with the husbands and wives spending time apart on separate days out.
One half enjoyed a luxury spa, meanwhile the others headed out for some cocktails. The time apart has given the couples the opportunity to open up and it’s clear tension is brewing between Maeve and Joe.

Opening up to his fellow groom, Joe admitted: “I haven’t been my full self this week. I’ve got a lot of stuff going on at home and my grandad just died, which doesn’t help at all.”
Turning his attention to his relationship, he continued: “Me and Maeve had this argument last night and I’ve just got huge doubts in my head. I just said can you just look after yourself a bit more this week, go get your nails done, have a sun bed and just do whatever you need to do to feel good.”
He went on: ”Then she just stormed off and got really angry and that just wound me up because I didn’t understand the reaction. She is 0 to 100 rapid and it’s not how I deal with s*** at all, not at all and because she came at me I was absolutely fuming.”
Elsewhere Maeve also opened up about the situation to her fellow co-star. Unaware about how Joe is feeling, they all reassured Maeve that there was nothing to worry about.
Back at the spa, Joe explained: “Me and Maeve have been in this bubble and I’ve been blind about the differences we have and maybe we are not compatible but because we have been in this bubble I ignored it all and bottled it all up. it’s affected me because I haven’t been able to be my full self.”

Joe stuttered when he was asked if he loved Maeve as he replied: “I do genuinely have love for her, like I do.”
He hesitated as he continued: “huh.. I do love her in a way but am I truly head over heels truly in love… probably not. There is a massive difference and now I’m thinking is this going to work.
Joe admitted that the whole experiment was getting overwhelming for him so he decided to leave the spa.
Speaking to the camera, he admitted: “It’s been very hard for me bottling all this up and I really feel like I can’t do it today. I’m feeling very overwhelmed, exhausted and I need to leave and have some time to myself.”

Viewers watching at home rushed to social media to share their reaction as they claim there might be something between Joe and Sarah, who left the experiment last night.
One viewer asked: “Is Joe going to find Sarah? #MAFSUK” Another joked: “Imagining that Sarah is hiding behind that large plant eyeing Joe’s tattoos whilst he is talking to Ash! #mafsuk.”
A third speculated: “I wonder if Sarah got Joe’s number before she left? #MAFSUK.” Meanwhile one fan added: “Bet Sarah is fuming hearing that Joe is unhappy and she wasnt there #MAFSUK.”
