This TV Marriage is OVER! MAFS Bride Reveals Shocking Truth: She Nearly RAN AWAY and is Now ‘TRAUMATIZED’ Watching the Painful Footage Back!

Leah Tyrer, a bride from the E4 reality show Married At First Sight, has dropped a bombshell about her troubled marriage to Leigh, hinting that their relationship may have crumbled. In an explosive interview with podcaster Scott McGlynn on his Celebrity Skin Talk series, Leah opened up about the emotional toll of her time on the show, revealing she was left so overwhelmed that she sought help from the show’s psychiatrist and even considered walking away from the marriage altogether.

Reflecting on her experience, Leah admitted to feeling deep regret about not standing up for herself during heated arguments with Leigh. Speaking candidly, she hinted at a possible split by referring to their romance in the past tense. “Looking back and watching back, there is some PTSD,” she confessed. “Why did I not say something? I am not a person on the outside world to let someone talk to me like s***. I am not the type of person to let someone speak to me in a nasty way. Watching it, I wish I’d have stuck up for myself a bit more.”

Leah revealed that the pressures of the show and her strained marriage took a significant toll on her mental health. “You get so involved in that person and you forget who you are,” she explained. By week three, she felt utterly broken, describing how she was “chipped away at” until she reached a breaking point. “I got to the point where I was like, I don’t think I can do anymore,” she admitted. In a desperate moment, Leah turned to the show’s psychiatrist, declaring, “I can’t do it,” as she contemplated quitting the experiment entirely.

Tensions between Leah and Leigh were evident throughout their time on Married At First Sight. One major source of conflict was Leah’s flirty friendship with fellow bride Rebecca, who is happily married to Bailey. Leigh expressed discomfort with Leah’s behavior, particularly during a lively dinner party where “drinks were flowing.” He confronted Leah, stating, “Last night, Leah was being a bit flirty with Rebecca. She has said to me before that she’s got a flirty personality, and it’s something I’ve dealt with in my past, but I don’t want to feel like I’m being disrespected.”

The couple’s disagreement escalated during a discussion about the incident, with Leigh insisting, “You’ve got a flirty personality, you said. You did say that. So I started to feel like you were being overly familiar with Rebecca. It started to make me feel like… I was a bit like ‘that’s a bit muggy’.” Leah, however, pushed back, denying that she described herself as flirty and clarifying, “No, I didn’t say I’m a flirty person. I said people…”

The cracks in their relationship were apparent from the start. Leigh admitted early on that Leah wasn’t her usual type after their wedding vows, setting a rocky foundation for their marriage. As Leah now reflects on the painful experience, she’s left grappling with the trauma of reliving those moments on screen, raising questions about whether this Married At First Sight couple could overcome their challenges or if their marriage is truly over.
