After last night’s shock Married at First Sight commitment ceremony, which saw Sarah and Dean tearfully leave the process, the drama continued as the couples all separated and headed off to two different away days.
However, things got heated at one of the spa days, as Steven ended up storming out again when his relationship with Nelly was made the topic of conversation.
Sarah and Dean weren’t the only ones dealing with problems during the commitment ceremony, as the experts exploded at Steven for his behaviour towards Nelly.
Earlier in the series, Steven heard calling his wife a “f*****g idiot” after she challenged him over his behaviour before joining the show.
Last night, Steven got a grilling from the experts on the sofa, as they spoke about Nelly not feeling secure in the relationship. Steven later asked why his feelings weren’t considered, as Paul said it was “masterful deflection,” and Steven was minimising his wife’s feelings.
Paul then said Steven wasn’t a bad guy, but believed he deflected and minimised Nelly’s feelings – which he agreed with. Both then opted to stay in the experiment, but tonight, things got heated at the spa days.

During tonight’s episode, Steven expressed his disappointment to his group about Nelly not standing up to Paul.
He then claimed he had been “blindsided” by his wife three times, and said how he was feeling was “not f*****g irrelevant.”
Leigh then tried to argue back, but Steven wasn’t having any of it, believing his feelings had been disregarded.
“Let’s just cut this conversation,” he said, as Rebecca said he speaks about his own feelings more than how he’s made Nelly feel.
“I’ll step out and get another drink, I’m f*****g done with it,” he said as he walked out the room. He was then seen storming off and throwing his drink down as he exited.
“F*****g clowns!”, he exclaimed as groom Ash followed him out and tried to diffuse the situation, telling Steven to calm down and take accountability, and let them know they’ve only heard one side of the story.
Elsewhere, during the other spa day, Nelly was seen breaking down in tears as the group played a game. They were asked the question, “Who is keeping a secret about their true feelings towards their partner?”
Maeve then answered Nelly and Steven as she said she thinks Nelly likes Steven a lot more than he likes her. Leah also agreed – as did Nelly, although it left her in tears, needing a time out.
