Unexpected Pardon for the Chrisleys – The Dark Truth Few Know!

Chrisley Knows Best stars Todd and Julie Chrisley are being pardoned after they were sentenced to prison over fraud and tax evasion charges. The husband and wife are best known for starring on the reality show Chrisley Knows Best with their family; the show ended amid their prison sentence. Todd and Julie faced tax evasion, fraud and conspiracy to defraud charges, for which they were found guilty by a jury of their peers. They were sentenced in late 2022; at the time, Todd and Julie were expected to serve 12 years and seven years, respectively, behind bars.

Todd and Julie Chrisley are receiving pardons and will soon be released from prison.

Donald Trump will be giving both Todd and Julie pardons, which means they will soon be released from prison. Their daughter Savannah Chrisley has been leading the charge to free her parents. According to NBC News, Trump told Savannah and her younger brother Grayson Chrisley his plans for the pardon, saying, “It’s a terrible thing, but it’s a great thing because your parents are going to be free and clean…I don’t know them, but give them my regards and wish them well. Wish them a good life.”

Ever since news broke that Todd and Julie would be pardoned, Savannah has been providing updates, including revealing that she found out directly from Trump while she was shopping at Sam’s Club. On social media, Todd and Julie’s daughter expressed how grateful she was that her parents were about to be released from prison. She thanked her fans for supporting the entire family and said that Todd and Julie were just hours away from being able to start over with their lives.

What Todd & Julie Chrisley’s Pardon Means For Upcoming Reality Show

Todd & Julie Will Likely Star On New Reality Show

The timing of Todd and Julie’s pardons is very interesting. It was recently announced that the Chrisley family would be starring in a brand-new reality show on Lifetime that plans to update fans on their lives while Todd and Julie are in prison. At the time of the announcement, the expectation was that the Chrisley patriarch and matriarch wouldn’t appear on-air but might make appearances via phone calls. Now that Todd and Julie are about to be released, it seems likely they will now be able to star on the new show after all.

Chrisley Knows Best followed the lives of the Chrisley family through various ups and downs, including fun activities they did together. The new reality show will probably do the same but with a huge focus on Todd and Julie’s prison sentences and the aftermath of their release following the pardons. They have all claimed to be victims in the criminal justice process, even though a jury determined they were guilty, so that will likely be a common talking point on the new reality show.

Our Take On Todd & Julie Chrisley Being Released From Prison

Will Chrisley’s New Reality Show Focus Too Much On Prison?

Once Todd and Julie are back home, they will likely want to spend a lot of quality time with their kids. It’ll be interesting to find out if cameras will be capturing those initial moments after being released for the reality show. While Chrisley Knows Best was accused of being fake, it was still a fun and entertaining show.

However, this new series will involve topics that are very serious in nature, namely Todd and Julie’s prison sentences. While there will likely be huge interest when the show first premieres, a big question mark is whether viewers will stick around if the family spends the entire time playing the victim. Producers should incorporate some of the fun elements from Chrisley Knows Best to liven up the show and remind viewers why they loved the family in the first place before the couple was found guilty.
