*Warning: Contains spoilers for Love Is Blind UK Season 2*
Love Is Blind UK viewers have confessed they “can’t watch” following a cringe-worthy moment between one pair.
The hit dating programme made its comeback to television earlier this month, featuring five fresh couples diving into the experiment and becoming engaged. However, the ultimate challenge for the duos arrived this week as they began cohabiting to organise their forthcoming weddings.
This also involved introducing each other to their respective friends and families, reports the Mirror. Unfortunately for one couple, this didn’t unfold as smoothly as anticipated.

Kal and Sarover struck up an instant connection within the dating pods, yet their contrasting upbringings suggested potential difficulties ahead for the twosome. Sarover was raised in a contemporary Indian household and has never experienced a committed relationship or dated beyond her cultural community previously.
As for Kal, his father hails from Pakistan whilst his mother is English, and he belongs to an extensive, tightly-bonded family. However, fans have been championing the duo as they swiftly emerged as beloved favourites among audiences.
Anxious about encountering Sarover’s parents, Kal confessed it felt “unsettling” as he expressed uncertainty about “know which way it’s going to go”. During his meeting with Sarover’s mum and sister, he remarked: “I know you’re a bit sceptical about me because obviously we’ve never met.”
When questioned about what made Sarover unique and distinctive, Kal responded: “Erm, a couple of things to be honest”, prompting Sarover’s mum to enquire: “That would be good to hear.”
He continued: “So, I’ve never dated a southern girl before, I’m gunna be honest I like the posh Southern accent. Something new and exciting for me, and then, so yeah.” After an awkward pause, he added: “We’re both obviously into fitness.”
When questioned if he was fully prepared for marriage and commitment, Kal responded: “I want to settle down, I want kids, family, all that. Hopefully with this beautiful lady who’s your daughter.

“Good work by the way, and yeah, I just I don’t know, just can’t wait for the wedding now, I’m a lucky guy.” He later remarked: “The universe does work in mysterious ways sometimes.”
Viewers were quick to notice the uncomfortable moments. One fan took to X and posted: “Omg Kal messed that up so badly in front of her family I am screaming?! I have secondhand embarrassment I can’t watch this.”
Another viewer commented: “Kal saying random stuff in front of Sarover’s mother was awkward. I bought Indian clothes”, followed by a laughing emoji. A third chimed in: “That meeting was so awkward.”
A fourth wrote: “Kal can’t even say what he likes about Sarover but is shocked her mum might oppose him… okay.” One viewer noted: “Nah I can’t believe Kal has come to tell Sarover’s family rubbish. This is deeply embarrassing for her.”
Labelling it a “tough watch” one fan said: “As much as I’m rooting for Kal and Sarover, that *first* scene of him meeting her family was a tough watch..”
Will Kal and Sarover finally get their fairytale ending? Fans will have to hold their breath until 27 August, when the last two episodes are unveiled.
