A BOMBSHELL STATEMENT! TV Legend Lorraine Kelly ‘Terrorizes’ Strictly With One Burning Question About The Ross King Scandal!

Lorraine Kelly didn’t mince her words as she expressed her views on Strictly Come Dancing following the departure of her co-star Ross King.

On Sunday (12 October), Scottish presenter Ross, 63, was the second contestant to bid farewell to Strictly with his professional partner Jowita Przystal, after a dance-off against actress Balvinder Sopal and her partner Julian Caillon.

During Monday’s episode of Lorraine, Ross discussed his exit and commented on this year’s high standard of dancing, noting that several celebrities in the line-up have previous dance experience, albeit not in Ballroom or Latin.

Ross began: “You know, the standard this year… I think it has been…” before Lorraine, 65, interjected: “Can I just say, from my point of view, I think there’s too many trained dancers in it for me because the reason I enjoy the show is to watch people like you, if you don’t mind me saying, you know this, getting better and better and better.

“That, to me, that’s what the show’s about. That’s what it should be about.

“And I know you wouldn’t say that, because you’re too lovely, but I think there’s too many, in my opinion, there’s too many experienced people, and it’s kind of like: ‘Okay, that’s great’, but I’m not invested, and I’m not thinking, ‘go for it’.”, reports the Express.

“Whereas with you, I was like, yes, Ross! Yeah! Especially the dance that you did to The Proclaimers. That was beautiful!”

Several stars on this year’s line-up have dance experience, including Amber Davies, who is a West End star, and former Emmerdale star Lewis Cope.

Lewis, 30, has plenty of past dance experience after starring in the musical Billy Elliot, reportedly representing the UK in the World Hip Hop Dance Championships as part of a group in 2013 and even appearing on Got To Dance, where he finished as a runner-up with the hiphop dance troupe Ruff Diamond.

Elsewhere during the chat, Ross said: “We said at the beginning, if I could be most improved, and Anton (Du Beke) gave me most improved two weeks in a row, the judges said some really nice things.

“And also the fact that, I hope now that I have inspired people, especially men of a certain age, who go, ‘you know what? I’m just going to sit around, not going to do anything’, to just get out there and dance and have fun, because that’s the whole thing, I mean, I had fun every week.”
